In the first episode of our podcast - "How I Got Here," we sat down with Yaniv Rivlin, the man responsible for bringing the Bird scooter-sharing company to Israel and the bestselling author of "Life as a Startup," where he shares insights from his personal journey and offers tools for personal and business growth.
Yaniv discusses his path as someone who defines himself as a person who simply isn't good at traditional exams. With a low psychometric score and a childhood in Katzrin, Yaniv wasn't initially at a clear advantage in his professional journey.
However, he still got accepted into a prestigious program in Canada, graduated from Harvard University, worked at the Schusterman Foundation to connect Jews around the world with Israel, and from there, he moved into the highest position at the startup company Bird in Israel—as the CEO.
Along the way, Yaniv developed a method of looking at everything that happened in his path as part of a roller coaster, as part of our journey's narrative.
